I am Purna Bahadur Rai.I am known as Purna Rai in the music industry. Since 2002, I have been continuously involved in the Nepali music industry. I have sung hundreds of Nepali modern songs, ghazals, play back singing in movies, folk songs, linguistics, pop songs and folk modern songs.
In 2019, I was able to write my name in the world's most prestigious Guinness Book of World Records

Guinness World Record 2019

I consider it an unusual success to be a world-renowned Guinness Book of World Record holder from the field of art. In 2019, I managed to set a Guinness World Record under the title "The Highest Altitude Music Video on Land" by completing the live audio song recording and music video shooting at 4,768 meters (15,643.04 ft.) high in Gokyo, a famous tourist destination of the highest peak Mt. Everest region.

The song "Hamro Sajha Himal" set in the prestigious Guinness World Record is composed in my own voice. As a singer, I am very happy to call for world tourism, nature conservation, social harmony and unity through songs.

World's Highest Global Warming Summit-2022

I am an artist. i sing a song. I write and create music. But apart from art, I like to work and study nature conservation. Because in order to have a beautiful society, the earth needs to be beautiful and safe.

On May 29, 2022, I have successfully completed the "World's Highest Global Warming Summit-2022" for the first time in the world's highest 5,400 meter Everest base camp in Nepal. As climate change is a common issue of the world, I worked as an international program coordinator to call everyone from the highest peak, Mount Everest, in the presence of eminent scientists....For this historic scientific conference, we have invited Dr. Professor Joanna E. Lambert and Dr. Professor Joel Berger, scientists from the University of Colorado and the Colorado University of America. Likewise, the program was completed in the presence of scientists from Nepal's Tribhuvan University, distinguished scientists from India and Europe

This is a historic first Nepali song that I sang for FIFA World Cup 2022 (Qatar). I like to do different things and have different experiences. In the same vein, I worked for a long time to establish my concept of creating a historic song and shooting the video of the song for the first time on the summit of the highest peak, Mount Everest. This task itself is an impossible task which our team has historically succeeded.

Musical Tour in Europe

A musical tour is common for an artist. I have done hundreds of musical shows in Nepal and abroad. But the European musical tour of 2017 was special. This musical tour was accompanied by a formal program to promote Nepal's tourism. I remember that the Nepali embassy called for a special program for the promotion of tourism, which was started in conjunction with Prashan Rai in Switzerland. After that, there were memorable events in countries like France, Italy, Austria and Belgium.

Among them, I won the best playback singer award for the movie Agni. Which award was also my first for movie singing.

In 2015, the Nepali music market was heated by Ghazal Halka-Halka. I remember working hard to sing this ghazal. I had the opportunity to sing this ghazal with lyrics by respected Dinesh Subedi, music by composer Ram Sitaula.
